Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups crabmeat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspooon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Soak 1 3/4 cups bread crumbs in the milk for 5 minutes, then combine with the crabmeat, salt, mustard, cayenne pepper, and melted butter.

Divide the mixture among 6 crab shells or ramekins. Sprinkle with the remaining bread crumbs and dot with butter.

Bake in 450 degree oven 10 minutes or until browned. Serve at once.
